The Pasarela Larios catwalk, which forms part of Malaga Fashion Week, takes over the entirety of the iconic Calle Larios and, measuring over 300 metres in length, has set the record for being the longest haute couture runway in all of Europe.
This now yearly event brings together fashion designers from all across the continent, with almost a hundred international models showcasing designs by major names, albeit with a special focus on local designers such as Rafael Urquízar, Sandra Rojas Novias and Abraham Zambrana.
The weekend-long event attracts over 15,000 spectators a day and its impact is felt and seen all across the city.
This event ordinarily takes places in mid-September. The dates for 2020 are yet to be confirmed.
