La Terraza de San Juan is a rooftop bar with a lot to offer – above all excellent views of the mountains.
This hotel bar, which opened in 2017, is on the fifth floor of the swanky Hotel Malaga Premium and is (quite literally) within touching distance of San Juan church’s tower.
The public can access this terrace via the elevator in the hotel reception but be aware that during busy times, the wait for the lift can be quite long.
It is one of the latest additions in the growing list of roof top bars in Malaga and definitely has the most modern feel to it, with white couches, neon lights and glass balustrades.
The bar itself has an impressive collection of spirits and liquors in a colourful display and the menu has a selection of cocktails to suit all tastes, whether a classic Mojito or an adventurous Oaxaca.
During the day, La Terraza de San Juan is also a nice spot to enjoy a coffee or a milkshake and to catch the sun in relative peace and quiet.
